בית המשפט המחוזי בבאר-שבע  גזר על הרב יהודה בן דוד,בן 70, עונש של 4 שנות מאסר בפועל בגין ביצוע עבירות של מעשים מגונים כלפי שלוש אחיות בנות משפחה אחת, בהיותן קטינות. בנוסף, פסק ביהמ"ש כי הנאשם ישלם למתלוננות פיצוי בסכום כולל של 150,000 ש״ח

תושב אשדוד נעצר בימים האחרונים על ידי משטרת ישראל בחשד שביצע שוד במהלכו חטף תיק מאישה (36) שהלכה ברחוב. תגובה מהירה של לוחמי היס"מ הביאה לאיתורו בעת שניסה להשמיד ראיות הקושרות אותו למעשה. מעצרו הוארך במספר ימים.
