עשרות תושבי העיר אשדוד מפגינים בשעה זו לטובת החייל היורה מחברון, וקוראים לכם להצטרף, וזאת עקב המשך מעצרו

הארכת מעצרו של החייל היורה מחברון, וגם עכב כך שהוא צפוי לעמוד לדין בימים הקרובים באשמת הריגה, יצאו עשרות תושבי אשדוד לרובע הסיטי בסמיכות לקניון ולתחנה המרכזית והחלו להפגין בעד החייל.

כזכור לפני מספר שבועות מחבל ביצע פיגוע נגד חייל צה"ל ודקר אותו עם סכין, בעת ביצוע פינוי הזירה הרגיש החייל מאוים וע"פ טענתו חשש כי חגורת נפץ נמצאת מתחת למעילו של ה מחבל והחליט לירות בו, ומאז הוא נתון במעצר, ומובא תדיר בפני שופט עד מתן הכרעה בעניינו.

כמו באשדוד, בעוד כמה מוקדים ברחבי הארץ התכנסו מאות מפגינים כאות מחאה על מעצרו של החייל שירה במחבל גוסס. אליה שהצטרף להפגנה אמר לנו "אני קורא לכל האשדודים להצטרף להפגנה בעד החייל, לא הגיוני שחייל שמגן על המדינה נעצר וצפוי להיות מואשם בהריגה או רצח".
